*2025 Update*: Stopped in here for the first time since the 2021 fire. This was burned again and now has many downed trees covering up the tent spots. The new jack pine re-growth is also coming back thick. The large and well constructed fire pit is still here but has not been used in many years. There are to many large enough standing dead trees that could be widow makers with the right wind. If this is not cleaned up nature will reclaim this site.
