I did a late fall day trip into WCPP with my dog Mush, and stopped in to look around this site. It was burned in 2021, but is now starting to get green again with the regrowth. I am guessing someone with a chainsaw (or a lot of time with a handsaw) cleaned up this campsite, so it is now usable for tenting. Hopefully paddlers start to use it again. It has a really nice fire pit that is perfect for cooking.

Nice site with sloped granite landing. Not a lot of room to spread out, but was perfect for solo. Had a fire pit by the landing, and one up in camp for cooking.

Better than we were expecting to be honest. We fit 3 tents but it wasn't ideal. 2 is best. Lots of room but angled kitchen / fire site.
