This is indeed a very nice site that I would enjoy staying at again in the future. The "roof deck" (as we started calling it) is its best feature, with unrivaled views of Pipestone Bay. There are plenty of tent pads, but we had enough people/tents that one of our tents had to be set up closer to the kitchen than we would have preferred. They had good shade in the morning. Unfortunately, someone has very recently cut down many trees around the tent pads (see pictures). It made no sense to us why someone would do this. The seating in the kitchen area is quite limited; I recommend folks bring their own seating. One of the logs that appeared to have been used for seating was also partially burned. :/ There is no shade/shelter over the kitchen. Luckily, we had overcast weather for most of our stay there. The gravel landing makes a great take-out, but we found the pebbles to be uncomfortable for swimming without shoes. I prefer the sites further to the northeast for camping, but this is a nice spot to stop and enjoy the view.

Landing is easy on a gravel beach with lots of canoe storage. The steep climb up to the clearing is on rock steps. The large and somewhat open clearing is high on a rock cliff, and offers a superb view of island studded Pipestone Bay. The 2 log kitchen faces east and may be exposed to wind. There are 4 large tent pads at the back of the clearing. Swimming looked feasible from the gravel landing.

Gravel beach. It is a hike up to the site, but it is worth it. The site is on top of a large rock/cliff with an amazing view. It is sandy and flat on top of the cliff with some very nice tent pads.
