We paddled past from the southeast, and couldn't find any evidence of a site along the south shore, or around the point. It's possible that the location is very inaccurate. We didn't spend a lot of time hunting the surrounding islands/bays, and at least one other campsite not far from here is known to be mis-marked on the Fisher maps. If we ever return to this area and have a duff day, we'll take a wider look around.

No campsite. Others also looked for the campsite and could not find one.
