The entire site is sloped toward the water, so there are no good tent pads. It might be possible to comfortably hammock camp there, however. The view from the kitchen is limited, but the giant log in front of the fire grate provides some seating. The swimming isn't great, but the fishing is probably pretty good, or at least nearby. This site has more character than the one to the southwest (mostly soft pine needles), but there are many other better sites nearby.
