This was as good of a site that I've been on. Super big, might be able to fit 9 single person tents. Sand beach landing. Plenty of hammock trees. The fire grate area is very open and flat. Caught a few fish off shore. Plenty of firewood on the island. The only negatives I could come up with are that it can be pretty windy from the west or north-west, there is a lot of motor traffic, and there is a lot, A LOT, of garbage back in the woods from ~60 years ago when there was a cabin on the island.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and exploration. Huge site, really worked over. Fire pit next to the fire grate/kitchen. Guessing a site where large groups with motorboats camp frequently. Exposed to w/NW wind. Lots of dead pines with huge nails in them. Impact level is high.

Great island camp site - large open space with lots of quality hammock trees, flat tent pads, and a beach landing area. Can be a bit windy but the tree coverage helps provide protection.
