The site has nice shelter, but the whole site is sloped toward the lake with no level tent pads. There was no seating whatsoever at the kitchen, but there was some nice countertop space for cooking. The swimming looked pleasant, if a little pebbly. Very easy take-out. It was marked as closed for administrative purposes, so the forest service might be doing some work on it.

Small site with enough room for 2 small tents, Good sandy beach for canoe launch. Low laying area that can be very wet depending on time of year. Protected from the winds. 06/01/21. Spotted a bear checking out the site after campers left earlier that day.
