Site is south of where shown on the map, not right on the point where shown. Landing is decent. Bugs were not bad, but it has been a dry spring. We set up 3 four-man tents, 1 two-man tent, and a dining fly. Two of the tent sites are down the trail away from the kitchen. The kitchen area is nice. Good seating logs and a nice view of the lake. We swam off the landing and could walk out a bit before it drops off really deep. It is off the main path through Wind Lake, so somewhat private. We did not fish there, but saw fish jumping in the morning.

Atrocious landing. Closed in site, with little to no shade near the fire pit. Swampy area south of the site probably breeds large numbers of mosquitos (few were present when we were there though during a low bug year).

All of the sites are a little rocky, but in general flat. Lots of options for tents or for separating tasks like washing dishes, cleaning fish, hanging laundry, hanging food, etc.
