Without a doubt the premier site located within the quintet loop of lakes NE of Bald Eagle Lake. Excellent landing, nice elevated clearing, albeit a little exposed, with plenty of room for larger groups with a couple of large flat rocks for tables near the kitchen area and at least 3 nice, flat, grassy tent pads. The log seating isn't the greatest but, there are some old artifacts around the grate and there is a nice stretch of smooth rock along the lakeshore perfect for relaxing/star gazing etc. An idyllic sandy swimming area is located just a short distance west of the site proper.

Very cool campsite, looking out over Clearwater. We were here in Oct so the foliage had changed colors and much of the undergrowth was dropped. The camp was in good condition. Large rock outcropping for star gazing. The view was to the east and most of the opposite shore line was gone from the recent fire. Tent pad we had was sheltered from the wind but still had close view to the lake. Beautiful site.

didn't sleep at the site but we spent the better part of a day there. great landing, perfect for swimming. kitchen/fire pit is great. good afternoon shade. the name of this lake is no joke; some of the clearest water in the bwca.

Great site. Only area on the lake that has trees. Great kitchen area.
