This campsite sits right on the water and has an easy landing on a flat rock. The fire grate is right next to the lake, with a decent log nearby for seating.
The tent pads are the weakest part of this site. I found one tent pad that's usable but not great, and a couple of other places where you could put tents if you had to. None of them are particularly comfortable or well-defined.
This area was burned in the Turtle Lake fire, so the trees are still fairly small. There are a few larger jack pines that provide limited shade, but overall the site feels open and a bit breezy.

OK landing. Fire grate is right on the water. There's room for at least a couple of tents but the pads are rather lumpy. The fires hit this one pretty hard as it is very brushy just behind the main camp area. Still, I think that the remaining few large trees would support a hammock or two but, tarp options would be difficult. I gave it 2* but, realistically it's at the very bottom of that scale. It would definitely work in a pinch but, I don't think this area routinely gets enough visitors to be in that predicament.
