The red dot on our Fisher map from 2017 suggests the campsite is on the northeast corner of the island, exactly opposite to its true location, which is correct on this web site. That location gives it a private bay, and quite a bit of shelter from winds coming from almost any direction. It probably also muffles the sounds of motor boats going by. There is still quite a bit of poison ivy, especially around the "bedrooms," and the trail to the latrine. It's even around the kitchen, though (see pictures). The view from the kitchen and the rocky point are nice, if not as expansive as some other sites on more open water.

Easy landing. Kitchen has no seating, but a flat board shelf. Much poison ivy near fireplace. Do not use this site if sensitive to poison ivy. Good tent pads. Many areas to explore on each end of island. Lots of interesting views. Except for poison Ivy this would be a 4.

Small but nice site protected from wind and waves. good gravel landing. Poison Ivey on the site to the East.
