This was a great, spacious campsite. The landings were tight, but once on shore the site had a lot to offer. Large fire ring area. Tons of space to spread out. Was perfect for a large group like ours. A few good pads on the high ground with decent views of the lake and sunsets. Lake Agnes is WELL-KNOWN for bears visiting sites. Too many careless campers in a high-traffic lake over the years. This day was no exception. One bear visited us within 30 minutes of landing in mid-afternoon. Rummaged through one of our personal packs while we watched, but lost interest and wandered off. Keep your kitchen clean and food hung at all times and you should be fine.
