We ended up here after getting caught in a squall and pulling off to the shore of the peninsula to the northeast, where there are large boulders on the shore, so very difficult to get out of the water with the wind whipping through. We were pretty tired after that, so just found the closest site we could find. It was comfortable enough, and the next morning was very pretty. My wife caught a nice fish for us in the bay to the east, which was greatly appreciated by our kid, who was excited to have fresh fish for breakfast. The site has a nice view of sunset. We were surprised there weren't more folks paddling by, as busy as this lake can be. It wasn't a bad site, but there are definitely better sites. I suspect that the site listed to the north isn't really there. The site is definitely in the notch to the south, across a very small (but navigable) channel from the bay.
