Stopped by and checked this site out. A definite stay, but I would recommend leaving it for hikers. Incredible rock formations throughout, good parking, and great views. It would be my #1 stay site if it weren't for the hiking trail. That being said, it would be my second or third choice of sites.

I hiked the Big Moose Trail just after the first snowfall. It's an interesting hike in. The moose sure seem to like it (pretty fitting)! This site has an awesome camp kitchen shaded under a stand of red pine. Down along the water, there's an expansive view out into the entire lake.

Stayed here on my first solo! Absolutely awesome site... Lots of rock formations and huge boulders set among the red pines... Plenty of trees to hang from (I used a Tentsile Una and needed 3) Fire grate has bench seating... added bonus .. freshly dug toilet w/lid!.. Yes this is close to the Big Moose trail.. but didn't see anyone! Note, landing is to the north around the corner in the bay.......

I like this campsite as it is in a red pine area. Nice and open with good views of the lake and sunset. The only down side is that it is near the end of the hike-in trail and occasionally you may be disturbed by hikers.
