Very difficult to locate this site from the lake but it is right where this map says it is. The landing actually isn't too bad, a small sloping granite shelf. Canoe storage may be a challenge. The site is elevated but the trail up to camp proper is very faint. There is a very nice view from the fire grate as the site is situated well above the lake. There are a couple of weedy overgrown tent pads that would be more serviceable if they got a little use occasionally. Tarp & hammock options very limited. There were weeds growing out of the latrine to give an indication of use. An abundance of blueberry plants encircles the camp. All in all, I think this could be an OK site with a little TLC but, suspect almost everyone would rather push into Iron (or one of the southern lakes if headed in that direction.)
