I'm just not seeing the appeal of this site. Yes, it has a great view. But, there is no shelter at the kitchen, and no clear place to hang a food pack, or put up a hammock. There are several open areas, but none of them qualify as "good" tent pads to me. The fire grate is almost broken. (How does that happen?) There is a nice small beach next to the site that would make for nice swimming in better weather than we had.

Great site. Good place to pull the boat up in a mossy area on the west side. Great view over the lake from the fire pit. I believe the tent site was up the hill some nestled in the trees, but it's been nearly a year. Beach area to the east, you can hear the falls from camp.

Very secluded site with beautiful views of Crooked lake. small beach near the campsite to enjoy fishing and swimming. The aircraft crash is difficult to get to from this site but not impossible.
