Nice site. Not much open space, tent pads are good and flat. Kitchen is in a nice area with a good view. Easy landing.

I was forced to stop my northward journey on Crooked to Thursday Bay by impending storms. I was in search of a safe place to tuck into for days of thunder and lightning. I saw the grove of short trees on the crest and realized this was a good stand to hang my hammock in with uniform and low cover and a low chance of falling big branches.
The site was amazing. The two landings are easy and good, on hard shallow rock shelves. A gentle sloping rock extends up to the campsite. The rock is a great place to stargaze from and escape the mosquitoes. On top the rock is an exposed fire grate and solid log benches. three flat grass covered areas were tent pads, some pushed back into the trees, and others more exposed. Casting to a weedbed from shore yielded bass and northerns. The views of the bay and across to Canada are amazing. Fishing in Wednesday Bay got boring after pulling in so many fish in so little time. The shallow saddle between this bay and Wednesday Bay at the Table Rock site is a great place to fish for walleye. This is a great basecamp for small to medium sized groups.

Stopped here for a break. Looked like a site we would have enjoyed.
