Stayed here on our last night before portaging out. Fire grate is fully exposed up on a rock and the best sleeping pads are hidden down behind the kitchen. Unique site but nothing great, if there was any wind at all you probably wont be using the kitchen at all.

Great site. It is sheltered and exposed at the same time. The fire grate is functional but that's about it. One of the legs is just about rusted off. There are plenty of tent pads and tons of trees for hammocks. The views are amazing and there are plenty of hikes around the site. The north side is bordered by a giant rock wall.

This site was a welcome site after our long portage from North Hegman in 96 degree weather! We had a south wind so it was a bit challenging to cook on the fire grate (grate is on a high large rock and out in the open--but no bug issues up there!) But the flat open are behind the fire grate fit us comfortably. We had three tents, a hammock, and a bug tarp up and still had plenty of room. The large rock face behind the open area is lovely. The best put in is on the east side--nice shallow area without rocks.

Easy landing with nice view to the south and the scenic cliffs to the west. Fire grate is exposed but, there is an incredibly sheltered area with a sheer cliff on one side that provides an area for several tents. Rugged terrain just outside of camp but, latrine wasn't too difficult to access. Can climb up for a panoramic view of lake. Ideal winter campsite. But, may be buggy in summer.

This site is wide open with plenty of spots for tents. It is located out on a point and is quite exposed to Southerly winds. I would gladly stay here during canoe season.
