I quite liked this campsite. The landing is very easy, with a small sandy pull-in spot next to a downed log that works like a canoe garage stall. It is just about the perfect size for one canoe.
The kitchen and fire grate sit right on the lake, raised about three feet above the water on a small rock wedge. Behind the kitchen, the campsite is mostly defined by several large white pines. They may not shade the kitchen all day, but they should provide shade for much of the rest of the site, and they cover the ground in pine duff, which I like.
I found two good tent pads: one right by the kitchen and another underneath a white pine. There would be more tent space if not for all the roots. The rock ledge is fairly flat as it goes back, but roots limit the usable tent spots. There is a third possible spot, maybe even a fourth if needed, but the extras are small or rooty enough that I would not call them good. Overall, this is an open, piney, pleasant site with a very easy landing.

Not much shelter from the sun, tent pads mostly clustered around the kitchen. There's a honeymoon spot with a widow-maker looming over it. More secluded than many site on Ima but lacking scenic vistas or charm.

A downed tree provides a handy protected landing. The fire grate is literally right on the lake and provides decent views up/down the lake. Not a lot of room here but should adequately serve smaller groups.

We scoped out this site. Pretty small, open site. We chose the other site on Hatchet as it was much larger, better in general.
