I did not stay here but visited while hiking the Astrid Lake trail. This site lies on a point with terrific views of the lake to the west, north, and east. It's amazing! This site is sort of two-tiered as the fire grate is on the upper level while the two tenting areas along with the picnic table is below, behind the firegrate on the shore side. This site does not get five stars only because the landing at this site is a little iffy with it being all rocky and somewhat steep as well as being totally exposed to any north wind. That said, it's still a great site!
