Surroundings affected by the fire, but the peninsula was skipped. The fire grate is out on an exposed rock. There are a surprising number of tent pads in the small tree grove. They are packed tightly together, but you can fit at least 4 tents in there. Two of the good tent pads are small. Good view from the peninsula, even if it is mostly of the burn area. The site is by a swamp, so it may be buggy. Cedars and jack pines dominate the site. Good walleye fishing from shore off the point.
