In retrospect, this ended up being a nicer campsite than the one I stayed at. There are at least a few mature trees still standing here. However, I wanted to visit Quadga so I didn't stay.

Nice campsite. Was open due to fire, but finding firewood was easy. Wind could hit from basically every direction, so bugs wouldn't be too bad. good fishing not too far from camp. Latrine was pretty good. only bummer is finding a tree to hang food in, as all of the trees are practically dead from the burn. stayed at this site last year too, and we liked it a lot.

welcome site after many miles of no camp sites. nice grassy site with a few trees that did not burn.
