Pretty decent rock shelf landing. Site was decimated by the fire but does sport the best tent pads, which are flat & grassy, of any on the lake. Currently very little cover, only very small trees so hammock and tarp options are non-existent. Latrine is in a boggy area so bugs may be an issue.

Second best of the three sites on the lake. Easy landing on flat rocks in front of the site. Since it is in the burn area, it is open with no shade or hanging trees. Tent pads are a little lumpy. There is a nice sand beach just a short swim or paddle away on the eastern shore.

This site is open now. These Bog sites have the weird welded plates on the sides of their grates which helps keep the wind out in the post-burn. Site sits on a shallow rock face with decent

Found this comment on a thread on BWCA.com message board. Message date is August 2022. "It is open with the old fire grate plus a new latrine. Probably the better of the two burned sites. This site and the old middle site were pretty good sites and had some beautiful old cedars."
