Not much left here. Small tight canoe landing with not a lot of room to maneuver. The site is situated on a sloping rack slab currently with no decent log seating or nearby trees of any size. However, it easily qualifies for the best view and most interesting site on the lake. There is a large rock escarpment just behind camp that provides an excellent overview of the lake, and the surrounding area is easily explored. There was a nearby beaver hut and evidence of him chewing in/near camp was readily evident. Also seen plenty of 'mooseplums' in and around camp. In it's present state I can see why people would avoid it, but I think, in time, this could be the best site on the lake for small groups.

This was my least favorite site on the lake. It is an easy landing on a sloping rock. The site is in the burn area, so it is very open with no shade and no hanging tree. The lake is shallow and swampy in this area. There is one tent pad area. Maybe you could fit two small tents there, but I think it would be best for just one tent. The fire grate has welded plates on three sides to keep out the wind. We were swarmed by black flies (much buggier than any other site on the lake), and we left in a hurry.

We stayed here for the night. Camp kitchen is on an open rock face in a very shallow bay with room for a couple tents sort of. There are some very neat rock features behind the site. It's not great, but does have a wonderful view of the lake and sky.
