This is a pretty small campsite tucked along the shore. The landing is narrow but shallow, so if you do not mind getting your feet wet, it is fairly easy to unload and get everything out. From there, it is just a short walk up to the site. The campsite is protected on all sides and has only a very narrow window out to the lake, so you will not get much of a breeze. It is also very shaded, which could be nice in some conditions but could make bugs more of an issue during bug season. There are two tent pads, and that is really all the site can handle. The pads are not amazing, but they are level enough and should work. A large white pine stands near the fire grate by the water, and it helps mark the site from the lake. This is not the more desirable Trident site, but it would work if you just need a place to stay.
