Narrow gravel landing in shallow water with a good canoe storage area. An elevated site that provides an excellent view from the rock knob just past the main kitchen area which has a big rock just behind the grate. While this site provides much of the things most look for in a great camp, everything (tent pads, landing, fire grate, overlook etc.) is scattered all about as there just isn't a natural flow to the location of anything. Still, if it's open, I wouldn't hesitate grabbing it.

This is a very nice campsite, better than the previous two on River Lake. Most of the site is elevated and there is a compact but efficient kitchen area. Large rocky area to the north for great views and lounging. Decent shore fishing and a good spot to dive in on a hot summer day. Couple of good tent pads with more possible. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Directly southwest of here, the first point you come across when the lake narrows a bit, we caught about 30 walleyes in 45 minutes at dusk, vertical jigging with leeches and just drifting across the point. Fun and tasty! You would not regret staying here.
