I would rate this a 3.5. It's not a phenomenal site by any means, but it has charm and quiet in a busy area. It sits right by a portage, but it seems most folks use the one along the border which is more routinely marked. This has the single largest bench for a camp kitchen I have ever seen. It's this massive white pine log that they somehow transported from the far other side of the site (down a hill and back up to the site.) There are a couple unbelievably huge, dead white pines tucked back and away from this campsite. Also, the one bear tree is decorated like christmas with lost ropes. I retrieved four and a pulley, but more are still up there. All in all, I think this site is pretty neat.
