Gorgeous view from the site. Of all the campsites on the lake, this had my favorite view. There is also a trail to the east that will take you to another viewing point. You can get out of the wind and still get a view by going to either the west or east side of the peninsula. The campsite itself can be windy, especially if there is a northwest wind. Many white pines in the site. The landing is a sloping rock on the west side.
