This is a surprisingly nice campsite. The landing is sandy, but you have to navigate between a few rocks to get to it, almost like running an obstacle course with the canoe. Once you are there, it is workable. There are a few steps up to the campsite proper. The fire grate is out on a rocky point, more toward the base of the point, and it has amazing views all around the lake. The kitchen itself does not have much shade, and it will likely be in sun later in the afternoon, though it may get shade at other times of day. Behind the kitchen is where the tent pads are, and several large white pines are scattered through that area. The ground is covered in pine duff, which gives the campsite a great feel. I found two good tent pads and four maximum tent pads. One of the good pads is very large and could handle a big tent, while the other is smaller but still large enough for a standard tent. The two extra possible pads have roots in them, so they are backup options. There are landings on both the east and west sides of the point: the east side is smooth flat rock, and the west side is the sandy landing.

Overall a good site, lacking in tent pads. You could squeeze 3 tents depending on size, but there is only one good pad. 2-3 good hammock sites. Latrine is (quite) close to the site. Beautiful rock outcroppings and a decent kitchen area. Bugs largely dependent on wind direction.

Very bad site. No tent pads, or hammock trees. Latrine is a ways back and super buggy. Very sharp,small-ish rocks all the way out, and no good landing area. Bugs are horrendous at night. Fishing isn't good, either. There is only a small kitchen area, and no place to sit, really. Do not stop here unless you have to.

Decent campsite on a busy lake. Enjoyed a rainy day here when it was too windy to travel. Difficult to find toilet - don't take the inaccurately obvious trail to the back left. A couple good tent pads, good trees, and good protection from the windy day.
