A 3-star canoe site, but I'd give it 4 stars for backpacking. Lovely view, good access to the lake, and a decent rock face. I counted 2 useable sites, 1 of which was about as flat as they come. The fire grate seating is nice now (thanks motley!). This site is a nice balance between homey and rustic.

Stayed the night here on a sioux hustler backpacking trip. Pros: Secluded and high westerly view, probably can accommodate many hammocks. Cons: only one tent site which slopes and would not fit a large tent, a lot of up and down to the lake, had pretty much nothing for seating around the fire (fixed that ;)), dead end for canoers. Would have given it one star, but the view bumped it up. Generally not a good site...stay here if you have to.
