20 years ago this was 4/5 star campsite, now I give it a 3 - just average. I believe that storms and aging has caused a loss of a lot of the best trees and now in the main camp/kitchen area brush has grown up. Still some nice tent sites spread out around the island, best one is on the back side. Heavily used so firewood is scarce. Still one of the most popular sites on Lake One and does have a nice canoe landings/swimming area. There are still enough trees to hammock camp too.

Site is on a very small island. There are a few good tent pads, the camp kitchen area is a little rough from over use, and one can see straight through the island. Not a great site, but sees plenty of traffic on this prime location in Lake One.
