This site is on the other side of the trail from the water which kinda leaves it with the "pick a spot to camp in the middle of the woods" vibe without there really being a defined reason why the site is there. For example, many canoe sites have a stone landing or are on a peninsula or island, this one is sort of just plopped randomly in the forest. It's fine enough, but there's nothing really special about it. Also, the Eagle Mountain trail is so popular as a day-trip that there are bound to be plenty of groups walking right past the site.
