This site is likely the best site on the lake. It offers 180 degree views of the entire lake. It's right nearby the 3km long portage to Opeongo. It's an easy put-in/out on the south side. The southeast side of the site is shallow water with a sandy bottom. The western side of the site is rocky and drops off quickly. There are several grates to use to cook over the fire. One main log bench to sit near the firepit. There were a few good bear hang trees except they are found directly in the middle of the site. This site is filled with roots so lots of trip hazards.
