Good enough site to set up base camp for a few days of foul weather on my solo trip. Easy to land and unload the canoe. Good tent pad, good hammock trees.

I believe this site would be perfect for young kids. The landing is easy. The landing and swim area are soft sand and gravel. The bay is very shallow. The entire site is low to the water. The Forest Service had to put in a log fence to stop the campsite from eroding into the lake. The kitchen faces into the woods instead of towards the lake. Overall a decent site.
