Compared to the other campsites on Cummings, this one is average. However, if it is compared to a "small lake" campsite, it is very nice. The landing is a sloping rock. The rock would probably make swimming difficult since it would be slippery (you can get in, but you can't get out). A huge boulder blocks a good part of the view from the kitchen, but it would also serve as a windblock for your fire or stove. The site faces west, meaning that there is probably a good breeze. The two tent pads are covered in pine needles. There is good fishing close to the campsite.
