After a long, tiring push from Seagull via Paulsen, the group finally waved the white flag here just as the sun was setting. It's not a great site, but it has nice views from the camp kitchen and from the rocky hill above. I stayed up and watched the stars after a tired group went to bed.

The landing is a steep sloping rock. Because it was completely burned, there are no food hanging options. There is a good spot for a hammock (only because someone cut a bunch of branches off trees), no good spots for tents. The latrine has an amazing view. Young jack pines completely cover the area. The campsites on Virgin and West Fern are similar. Virgin's site is better for tents. West Fern's is better for hammocks.
