This was a small site - tough to find, difficult landing area, and not much room at all to stage gear/store canoes. One tight tent pad, near the fire pit, and an incredibly steep climb to the latrine. Tall grass everywhere. It was, however, a welcome site, as we put in at Round that morning, and by the time we got to Gillis, it was full. It served as a place to sleep for one night. It was lovely having the whole lake to ourselves. On the up side, my son caught a nice trout right in front of the campsite for breakfast.
