I made so much fun of this site, but I can't give it a 1. While this site isn't great, it does the job it needs to. If you're struggling to find the site, look for a rock perched atop a standing dead tree trunk. There is no landing. Just get out nearby and make it happen. This isn't a hammock site, and your tent is going to have to go near the fire grate which is right next to shore. The latrine is quite high up the steep hillside, but that does mean you have one of the better views from the pooper I've personally ever found. Not luxurious. Not for a large group. I would camp there, though.

This was a small site - tough to find, difficult landing area, and not much room at all to stage gear/store canoes.
One tight tent pad, near the fire pit, and an incredibly steep climb to the latrine. Tall grass everywhere.
It was, however, a welcome site, as we put in at Round that morning, and by the time we got to Gillis, it was full. It served as a place to sleep for one night. It was lovely having the whole lake to ourselves.
On the up side, my son caught a nice trout right in front of the campsite for breakfast.
