Sand beach site used by fishermen for shore lunch. Great swimming, beautiful view, numerous flat tent pads, and can walk to other side of the island for more sheltered sites and another gravel beach. Abundant "furniture" including picnic table, fish cleaning table, propane grills, etc.. Walled outhouse behind camp. Some garbage, but not trashed when we visited, though there were lots of fresh walleye remains along the beach waiting for gulls. If spending the night, recommend arriving after lunch and leaving before lunch the next day, otherwise you will have visitors arriving for shore lunch.
