I had paddled past this site so many times over the years - this was my chance to check out what looked like a neat site.
Kitchen's view is not great, but it has a big fire pit with sitting logs.
Fair landing. Poor swimming and poor fishing, though perhaps from the western point if you work your way out there.
The hill is impressive.
The hill is also the problem...there are no level tent sites. Not one. You can fit an army here, as long as they don't mind all lining up like sardines in the tent against the downslope wall.
Actually - I found one level site. It's small - a two man tent only...and it is on the back side of the plateau of the hilltop. Does not look like anyone has camped there in recent memory, but one could if one were willing to hoof it.

Wide open tent sites. Obviously well used, but not bad. The view from the climb to the top of the island is fantastic.

Well travelled island site. There are two landings for the site, one sandy. Found lots of litter on this site, and firewood may be scarce. If you have time, make your way to the top of the island to stargaze or take pictures.
