A smaller site on a dead-end lake nearly guarantees you solitude. This site is serviceable but barely used. The fire grate has a commanding 180 degree view of this small lake. There is one good tent pad but it's slightly overgrown. The other pads could work but would need a little touch-up to make them level and remove some growth. The trail to the latrine is clear but becoming overgrown. There isn't much of a canoe landing. It also has a type of fire grate I've never seen before; it has sheet metal on three sides of it with the open side being one of the short sides. We didn't stay here, but if we did, I suspect that the view and ambiance of the fire would be obscured by not seeing the coals and having to feed the fire from the narrow side.
