There is no good landing at this campsite. On the north side, the shoreline is steep rock, and on the south side it is thick brush. Either way, getting out of the canoe is difficult. The fire grate is located on a rock peninsula. There is little shelter and no seating, and there is very limited space behind the fire grate. The rock drops off steeply at the end of the peninsula. I found one good tent pad where a fallen tree had previously been cleared. There is another possible tent spot, but it is slanted and not level. The latrine seemed like a long walk away. This site would work in a pinch but is not a place I would choose to spend much time.
