The standout feature of this campsite is the view. The site sits roughly 15 to 20 feet above the water on a rock and has an unobstructed view toward the northwest, overlooking islands and shoreline.
The landing is small but functional, consisting of a pull-in gravel spot. From there, it is a climb up to the campsite.
There is one very good tent pad located slightly below the kitchen in the trees. If you only have one tent, this site works very well. Other tent spots near the kitchen are rocky, gravelly, or dusty, and I would not expect tent stakes to work. You could fit additional tents if needed, but the quality drops significantly after the first pad.

Small landing & sort of a scramble to get up to the fire grate area. Outstanding multi-directional views yet there is sufficient tree cover for every purpose. There are several decent tent pads but, they are all on rocky, gravel.
