Nice site overall. Tent site was a bit small for our 6 person tent but we did manage to just fit it in. Great view to the west and sunsets. Lots of ability to get around the island some as well. Fire pit was built up but was sort of hard to access in some ways. Site had like 3 different large grates left as well as other items. We carried some of it out but not the grates. You can tell it's on an entry lake.
Very nice site though for a 3 rating. I mainly went with that rating due to the kitchen area fire area in my opinion.

Great site. Nice sunset views, great swimming, tons of turtles, full fire pit, flat tent spots, ample wood. It is not protected from heavy winds so is only a great site on calm days.

Can be very windy if there is a west wind. Sloping rock for the landing and swimming area. The fire ring is built up. I also found another fire ring back in the woods. There are two level tent pads. In the open pines, you can probably find room for more tents.

The site itself is not bad, but site is not protected from an easterly wind. The fire ring however is built up nicely to protect from the wind. Firewood is available even though site is on island.
