It was very (!) windy when we stayed here, and there was a fire ban too, so that might have coloured my impression of the site. If the situation were different, I might have given it four stars and judged the number of "good" tent pads differently. Didn't swim at the site...there was a nice-looking beach a short paddle from the site where we'd planned to go to swim, but the wind kept us where we were for the afternoon.

OK site. Easy take out and good swimming. Most tent pads are uneven or have roots. Would be a great site for those using hammocks. Can be very windy with a hard west wind.

Beautiful island site! Nice fire pit but limited seating around it. Nice tent areas especially a very nice flat spot 'hidden' back in the trees a bit. Nice west facing view for great sunset viewing!

MICE!!!! Was our favorite campsite of our trip in 2013, but showing some over-used qualities in 2015. Very little firewood left on the island, have to work hard to avoid previous occupants' bathroom areas. Best advice I can give- if you camp here, hang the food bag off the ground! Knowing bears weren't an issue, we left our food drybag under a canoe and got up the next morning to find a 5 inch hole eaten through the bag and into our food. Started hanging it at night, found out you have to hang it at all times as the fearless and numerous mice on the island started chewing 2 more holes in the pack while we we prepared dinner. 11 trips through the years in Quetico, and this was an unwelcome lesson to learn.

Great spot in middle of lake. Easy landing and plenty of firewood. Nice trees and kitchen area with established fire ring. Did not fish.

Very nice island, long gradual granite point faces west. Fire pit at tree line. Level pine needle covered spots for tents at top of island. Easy landing.
