Stayed here on 6-28-05. This is a nice island site. As has been said it's got nice views to the west. There was no problem with the size of our group and spots for going to the bathroom. There were enough tent spots for at least three tents. The cooking area is really nice with a good fire pit (though we used a stove). The western tip of the island is a nice rock area that is good for enjoying the scenery. Canoe landing isn't great.

Camped here 8-30-03 and 9-3-04. An island site but has some size and cover that eases the sanitation issue. Would need to get firewood elsewhere unless there is new blowdown. Fire ring and tent sites sit about 10-15 feet above lake elevation. Nice view to west. Good fishing at base of rapids approx 1/4 mile east of campsite. Did not get lat/long.
