Camp is overgrown and apparently abandoned.

checked this campsite in early September 2010. It looked overgrown and there was blowdown in the site.

Used this site in June of 2007. Good site. Level and grassy areas that had no ticks during a heavy tick season. On east side of island for good sunrise viewing. Good wading and cooking areas.

Very, very nice. Level area with fire pit just a few feet above lake level, backed by cup shaped granite ridge about 7 feet high for exceptional wind protection. You can pitch a tarp off the top of ridge and over the camp fire area. Big Red and White pines. Very easy and convenient landing. Room for one tent on lower level and for more tents on higher level behind.
