Excellent reservable campsite and one of the few boat-in sites in NHAL State Forest that you can camp at multiple consecutive nights. Easy wrap-around sand beach landing. Metal fire ring with retractable grill directly faces the water view. New picnic table. Great swimming. Very Private. small panfish fishing in the lake. Plenty of trees for hammock hangs. The fire and picnic table area are on slanted ground so you will have to locate tents a short walk over to the peninsula.

Four to five stars, but I loved it, so I rounded up. It was my favorite site and lake in the area. It feels remote even though it is fairly easy to get to. Easy sandy landing. Excellent view. The tent pads are down a short trail to the west along the shore. One of the good tent pads is small.
