This site is accessed between two islands in a shallow and mucky corner of the lake that is choked with vegetation. The landing is in a bramble of dead branches and is a very soft and thick muck that you'll sink into. Swimming at this site is not possible, but an island nearby can be paddled to that has an excellent swimming beach. The site is up a shallow rise from the muck edge and does not catch breezes. It is infested with bugs and mosquitoes. The site is mostly private. A circle of vegetation has been cleared for a tent pad and there are a few trees that work for a hammock hang. The picnic table is severely slanted. The firepit is older with a fixed position grill. The site is generally cramped and includes a tight view across the lake to permanent cabins. Generally, the site is quiet. Fishermen may enter the bay and park in front of the site to fish the weeds for panfish.

Small site, but pretty nice. Biffy has a truly commanding view of the lake. The NHAL Canoe Route map shows the site in the wrong place -- it's actually behind the little west island near the south shore.
