The site was fantastic, we planned fair trip to Chatterton Falls, and did not make it with a strong west wind on the way in and of course a strong south wind on the way out limiting our distance greatly entering and exiting from the French River (main entrance). We did have a lot of rain and wind, and hoped not have the pines fall on us, but we stayed mostly dry, spending our 4 nights here. I am writing from memory, new to paddle planner, keen to continue its use in the future. I'll have some writing to do from 2023, we made it to the Falls! This site again is great, the bass jumped all night, and an easy catch throughout the day, a few nice pike, and some walleye around too. There is an excellent fire pit with good western views. There are at least 3 or more tent sites, and good firewood. Easy landing from the south side, rather than directly west. A good 3.5stars, Thanks for reading, Steven & Ash.
