Stopped for a break & checked this one out; some plusses, some minuses. Kitchen up high on a rock dome so decent view. Second fire ring further back is probably more sheltered in a north wind but a south wind would not be an issue at this site. Swimming probably OK but mostly fairly shallow so fishing probably not. Landing OK but then you are probably hauling the boat(s) up the hill for the night. 2.499 stars.

Poor landing/canoe storage. Steep climb to elevated site. Fairly protected from west/south winds. One excellent small tent pad with afternoon shade. Poor, exposed fireplace with no seating, plus a second unnecessary fireplace that ruins a tent area. Screened views except down by shore. Poor tarp or hammock options.

Nice site, a bit raised from the water and sheltered with trees. Good view from the fire pit and a flat tent area in the trees beside it. Someone put a second fire pit in the tent pad area which was unnecessary and limits the flat tent area.

Nice campste set back and shelter from windy day. has a grea vie of northwest sunsets.
